What Is Ocean Burst?
Ocean Burst: Deep Sea Match is a bubble shooter set far beneath the waves, where the only light comes from the glowing sea life around you. You aim and launch colored orbs called Lumis up into a cluster of more Lumis. Match three or more of the same color and they burst in a shower of light, and anything hanging beneath them with nothing left to hold onto drifts away too. Clear the board, rescue the creatures trapped in the cluster, and dive deeper.
It is easy to learn in the first few shots and rewarding to master, because every level is really a small puzzle: the layout, the colors you are given, and the order you fire them all matter.
How to Play
- Aim. Drag to point the cannon at the cluster of Lumis above. A guide line shows the path your shot will take, including how it will bounce off the side walls.
- Fire. Release to launch the Lumi. It sticks where it lands unless it completes a match.
- Match three or more. Connect three or more Lumis of the same color and they burst. The more you pop in a single shot, the bigger the reward.
- Drop the hangers. Any Lumis left dangling with no connection to the top fall away for bonus clears. Setting up these drops is the heart of a high score.
- Clear the board. Finish the level goal before you run out of shots, and free the sea creatures caught in the cluster.
Bank Shots and the Walls
The side walls are your best friend. Lumis bounce off them cleanly, which lets you curl a shot around an obstacle and reach a color pocket you could never hit straight on. Learning to read the guide line and plan bank shots is the single biggest jump most players make.

Voyage
The main journey. Progress through hand-designed levels and zones, each with its own layout and goals, and dive steadily deeper into the ocean.
Abyss Rush
A faster, higher-pressure mode for players who want a challenge and a score to chase.
Time Dive
Race the clock. Clear as much as you can before time runs out, where quick reads and clean matches matter most.
Daily Expedition
A fresh board every day. Play once, post your score, and challenge a friend to beat it.
Companions
As you play you can collect a cast of glowing deep-sea companions. Each has its own look and personality, and building your collection is part of the long-term draw of the game. Companions are earned through play, so the deeper you dive, the more of the ocean you get to know.
Tips and Strategy
- Look before you shoot. Check the color of your next Lumi (shown on deck) before you fire the current one, so you can plan two shots ahead instead of one.
- Aim for the anchors. Popping the Lumis that hold up a whole section will drop everything beneath them at once. This is where the big clears come from.
- Use the walls. When a color is tucked into a corner, a bank shot off the wall reaches it when a straight shot cannot.
- Do not waste odd colors. If you are handed a color you cannot use well, park it somewhere harmless rather than breaking up a group you are building.
- Save your specials. Powerful special Lumis are worth holding until they can clear a large or awkward section, not spent on the first easy match.
- Clear from the top down. Weakening the top of the cluster brings the whole thing down faster than nibbling at the bottom.
